• After initially purchasing the cruise, a day or a few days after you get to bid for an upgrade, but even if you bid lower than initial purchase price for the upgrade, you dont get a partial refund.
  • This means the initial purchase price is the lower bound of what you SHOULD bid
  • This means a strategy to minimize cost would be to initially purchase a Guarantee stateroom then bid for a upgrade

4 Taxes and Fees

The Taxes and Fees are a fixed cost typically around ~$540 for 2 people or 1 stateroom.
